My name is Evonne Coddington

My heart belongs to Jesus, and as I draw closer to Him, I feel an overwhelming ache to see others discover His boundless love and mercy. This passion has shaped every aspect of my life and ministry.

From a young age—I was just nine years old—I felt God's call to Africa stirring in my heart. That childhood whisper became a roar in 2023 when I first stepped foot in Uganda. What I found there wasn't just a mission field, but a home for my heart. I witnessed God's incredible work among the people, and I knew He was calling me to continue what He had begun, with plans to branch into other areas of Africa as He leads.

My journey has taken me through diverse roles—children's ministry, missions, administration, training, finance, real estate, and insurance—but each season has been preparation for this calling. Today, I serve alongside my local church in outreach, discipleship, and community connections, always with an eye toward equipping others for the work of ministry.

What drives me most deeply is my heart for the broken and hurting. I've experienced firsthand how Jesus's eternal love heals and restores us to perfect union with Him, and I long for others to know this same transforming power. Whether I'm working with children, training young leaders in Uganda, or connecting with my local community, my desire remains the same: to see lives touched by the hope that only Christ can give.

I believe in the power of relationship and authentic conversation. If you'd like to connect, learn more about the work in Africa, or simply share in this journey, I'd love to hear from you.

About Ministries of Mercy Inc

In the remote villages of Uganda and eastern Africa, where dusty roads lead to communities often forgotten by the world, something beautiful is happening. Young hearts are being transformed, dreams are taking root, and hope is spreading from one person to the next.

At Ministries of Mercy Africa, Inc., we believe every child, teenager, and young adult in these distant corners of Africa deserves more than just survival—they deserve to thrive. Our story isn't just about programs and initiatives; it's about the spark in a teenager's eyes when they discover their purpose, the laughter of children who finally have a safe place to learn and grow, and the quiet strength of young adults who are becoming the leaders their communities have been waiting for.

We're not here to impose change from the outside. Instead, we walk alongside these remarkable young people, offering discipleship that goes beyond Sunday mornings—comprehensive training that touches every part of life, from practical skills that put food on the table to spiritual foundations that anchor the soul. We're cultivating something powerful: communities of believers who don't just receive hope, but multiply it, carrying the light of the Gospel to places and people who have never heard it before.

This is kingdom work at its most personal—one life, one family, one village at a time. Because we know that when you invest in a young person with both spiritual truth and practical tools, you're not just changing one life. You're planting seeds that will bloom across generations and echo into eternity.
