Grateful Hearts, Faithful Steps
As I prepare for this incredible journey to Uganda, my heart overflows with thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father. I am overwhelmed by His goodness and the beautiful tapestry of family and community He has woven around me. Each person in my life reflects His love and grace, and I am deeply grateful for the support system He has provided.
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." - Psalm 107:1
A Blessed Gathering
Our recent gathering was truly a divine appointment - a sacred time where God brought His people together in unity and purpose. As we shared in vision, lifted our voices in worship, and joined our hearts in prayer, I experienced the beautiful reality of being one body in Christ. It was a powerful reminder that we are called to be His hands and feet in a world that desperately needs His love and hope.
"Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ." - 1 Corinthians 12:12
The Countdown Begins
With just 13 days remaining until my departure, anticipation fills my heart. I can feel God stirring something beautiful ahead, and I am honored to step out in obedience to His calling. Uganda awaits, and I know that God has gone before me to prepare the way.
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." - Deuteronomy 31:8
Join Us in Prayer
As we approach this sacred journey, we humbly ask you to join us in prayer. We believe in the power of unified prayer and know that your intercession will be a covering over our mission.
Please pray for:
Travel mercies - Safe journeys for all team members as we make our way to Uganda
Housing provisions - That God would provide comfortable and suitable accommodations for our team
Transportation - Reliable and safe transportation throughout our time in Uganda
Unity of the teams - That we would work together seamlessly, each using our unique gifts for His glory
Continued provision - For all our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs as we step out in faith
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19
A Heart of Obedience
This journey is more than a mission trip - it is an act of obedience to our Lord who calls us to go into all the world. We go not in our own strength, but in His power. We go not with our own agenda, but with His heart for the lost and broken. We go as vessels, ready to be used by the Master for His purposes.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your prayers, support, and encouragement mean more than words can express. We are excited to share updates from Uganda and to see how God will work through this mission.
May the Lord bless you and keep you as we go forth in His name.
In Christ's love and service,

Evonne
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."- Ephesians 2:10
